Throughout my two week break, I struggled the most because being around the holidays It was a lot easier to be eating
foods that have not been locally produced. Also during the holidays, many markets were closed which denied a lot of my
accessibility to locally produced foods. What I did was try to stock up on these foods before the holidays although,
these foods tend to go bad much quicker than these transported foods.
By next week I will try to influence others to eat local foods to help our environment by happiness.
A ton of Public Markets in Seattle especially in summer is super fun with friends!
Advertising could consist of telling schools or even just handing out a couple banners from certain
Public Markets. Even just the smallest help from those around you can truly help influence others.
Now I've thought long and hard about this. Continuing this project would help me stay healthier and keep our Earth
healthier. Although some cons being, planning meals ahead of time 24/7 and transporting to certain Public Markets.
This process, being forced to try a new habit of eating local foods was definitely helpful. Doing this habit made my body
feel exceptionally better. The foods felt healthy and tasted great! Because these foods attracted me, throughout the
process of me eating locally produced foods, It became easier. I believe that my blog would help influence others to try
this same behavior because I give only the truth. No sugar coding!
Personally, this new behavior hasn't prompted me to think of other behaviors I could try but now being asked about it I
can see how this new habit could help promote other habits similar to this one.
You talked about the pros and cons of continuing your habit, but did you decided on whether you would continue eating only locally produced food?
